1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Nexa Events (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used for fraudulent or harmful activity.

3. Event Organisers

Organisers are solely responsible for the events they create, including the accuracy of event details, ticket pricing, voting categories, and for fulfilling their obligations to attendees and voters.

Nexa Events provides the tools to sell tickets and collect votes but is not the organiser of, and is not responsible for, any event listed on the Platform.

Organisers are solely liable for any financial errors, discrepancies, or issues arising from their events, including ticket pricing errors, incorrect configurations, payout problems, and withdrawal requests.

4. Tickets & Payments

Payments are processed securely through our payment partner, Paystack. By making a purchase you also agree to the payment provider's terms.

Ticket prices are set by organisers and are displayed in Ghanaian Cedi (GHS). A ticket is only valid once payment has been confirmed.

Nexa Events charges a platform fee of 8% on all revenue generated from ticket sales and votes. This fee is automatically deducted at the time of payout or transaction processing.

5. Voting

Where an event offers paid voting, each vote is a paid transaction priced by the organiser. Votes are final once payment is confirmed and are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Refunds & Cancellations

Refund eligibility for tickets is determined by the organiser's stated policy for each event. Where an event is cancelled by the organiser, refunds are handled at the organiser's discretion in line with applicable law.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Platform, including attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupting the service, uploading unlawful content, or using the Platform to defraud others.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nexa Events is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform or from any event listed on it.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
